Google Keep For Web Gets Updated,Chrome Apps Now On Mac

Google Keep for web has got a new redesign among many things in the most recent update.Here is the list of changes that company announced in a post filled with Santa references from North Pole to riding a sleigh:

-Sleek new design: many of your favorite things from the Android app are now on the web – full color notes, text that scales to fit the note, and a custom font just for Keep
-Rearrange items in lists: keep everything in order, all the time
-Improved search: finding the note you’re looking for is easier than ever
-Navigation drawer: quickly switch between your active and archived notes, or get a custom view of all of your notes with reminders.

Moreover, the company also announced chrome apps for mac in a blog post which said:

“Chrome Apps work offline, update automatically and sync to any computer where you’re signed into Chrome, so you can pick up where you left off. Your Chrome Apps on Mac behave and feel just like native software. For example, you can find your Chrome Apps in the Applications folder on the Dock. Search for apps by name in the Spotlight search—just like any other Mac program that you already use. ”

Here are some of the apps launched:

  • WeVideo Next : Video editing software which works offline too.


  • Smartsheet is a project management and collaboration app which can be used at work and at home.


  • Until AM is a full-fledged DJ setup in a lightweight app.

The company also instructed the users to check Chrome Web Store in post signed by Trent Apted and Jack Hou, Software Engineers & Mac devotees.
