Task Manager for Google Chrome

Have you ever counted how many tabs are open in your browser?

Did you ever try to find out which tab is consuming more memory?

When the world is moving from desktop based work to browser based work and we spend more time on browsers and web, it becomes obvious to have a mechanism to manage our browsers. Google Chrome has it’s own Task Manager that helps you to manage your tabs. It’s similar to the Task Manager that we use for our desktop applications.

As you can see in the snapshot above, the Task Manager for Google Chrome list down all tabs with memory utilization, CPU usage and Process Ids. You can select a particular tab and click on End Process mentioned in the bottom to kill that tab.

Excited about it and want to try it out. Go to Google Chrome -> Customize and Control Option -> Tools -> Task Manager.
